Hearing the contractors you've hired say that materials like Gyprock plasterboard are best may not match what you had in mind. But simple plasterboard can really be one of the best materials to use for walls in your remodelled home; it's how the plasterboard is installed and what type is used that determines its performance. The cheap plasterboard you may be thinking of isn't the only type out there. Some can be very good if you want a quiet, safe home.
Extra Fire Resistance
Depending on the specific type of plasterboard used, your home could have additional fire resistance.
